A pristine, largely undeveloped bay north of Charleston inside Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, well outside the harbor's boat traffic. Spotted seatrout and redfish are thick in its grass flats and oyster-lined creeks, and the remoteness means noticeably lighter fishing pressure than spots closer to the city.
