A deep tidal channel running between Virginia Key and Key Biscayne, a short causeway ride from downtown Miami, and one of Biscayne Bay's best-known tarpon corridors. Big migratory tarpon stack up in the channel and under the nearby bridge lights from spring through summer, and the mangrove-lined flats on either side hold bonefish and snook on the calmer tides.
