The western shoreline of Vanhankaupunginlahti bay, a short walk from the rapids at Vanhankaupunginkoski but a different style of fishing — open, reed-fringed shallows rather than fast water. It's one of the better-known spots in the city for jigging pike-perch from the bank, especially through May and June.
